Name (or what you'd like to be called here in CoE) Isabel, or Sabellezy. I'm not picky.
Age Close to 3,000.
Gender Female.
Where are you from (country/state)? I hail from the rainy state of Washington, USA.
How did you find CoE? I found it through searching resources on how to learn Sindarin. Wonderful lessons, if I might add.
What are your hobbies and interests? I spend an unhealthy amount of time watching TV/movies and scrolling through tumblr. Besides that, though, I love drawing, reading, writing, singing (badly), sports like archery and soccer (when I can get my lazy butt out of the house), and drinking tea. TEA.
Have you read the 'Lord of the Rings' & 'The Hobbit' and/or seen the movies? I have watched all of the movies (extended edition, mwaha), though I have only read *cringe* the Hobbit and The Fellowship of the RIng. I've gotten a little more free time lately, though, and I'm looking to start The Two Towers.
Do you have any questions about finding your way around CoE? Not as of yet, but I (like Thorin) have a terrible sense of direction and navigation, so I may need help in the future.

Hello, my name is Rachel and I am 16. I absolutely love Lord of the Rings, though I have only watched the movies. ( I am currently reading the books and they are amazing so far as well.) I stumbled upon this website while looking for Sindarin lessons. I'm taking them now and they are really good. Thank you to the creator of the lessons!

Hey! I'm Lyndi! I just wanted to say hi and, I'm new here! Although, I have known about the website for quite a while, I never stopped to find out what it was. But then a friend recommended it to me and now I'm so excited to check it out! I'm a crazy person who tends to talk too much. I'd love to discuss Middle-Earth with anyone who wants to talk! I've read all of LotR and the Hobbit and seen all the movies. (Sadly, I have not yet read The Silmarillion ) I'm super excited to get to know you all!

I'm The Alqemist and I love learning languages. Lessons are expensive though, so why not learn an elvish language? Lessons are free. So, here I am learning Quenyan. The lessons are great.

You've come to the right place Lyndi, if you want to talk about Middle-Earth. Just dive into our forums :

For help with Elvish lessons, you best check out the Elvish Forums, Thealqemist. You can also request a study-buddy there, we have many more people studying the language. To protect your privacy, you might want to delete your e-mail address from your post (just hit the 'edit' button on top of it). You can always share it with people through private messages, but like this it will be stored publically on the interwebs for ever . You can also use the site's private messages to talk to people and get help, you don't even have to give out your email.

Hi Areth, pleased to meet you. I'd try to say something more but your introduction was a bit short (and kept very secret ). If you feel like it, you could share some of your likes / dislikes or hobbies with our members? That way they can get to know you better.

Gender: Female

Where are you from (country/state): I was born in Ireland.

How did you find CoE? I was looking for a place to study Tolkien's languages and Almighty Google showed me this path.

What are your hobbies and interests? I like dancing, singing (terribly), reading, watching movies, playing guitar and piano (worse than my singing) and cooking.

Have you read the 'Lord of the Rings' & 'The Hobbit' and/or [b]seen the movies? Yes, I have seen both LotR and The Hobbit movies, and read the books. Also read The Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales. Still have HoME and Children of Húrin to go.

Do you have any questions about finding your way around CoE? The only thing I wanted to know was if I could add accents to my username. It's supposed to be Silmelírië. But I read that we're supposed to ask gwendeth about it, so I think I'm good.

Hello everyone in the Council of Elrond!
I am 19 and i live in Taiwan. I've watched all LOTR movies and had since fallen in love with them! I haven't yet read the books, but I wish one day when my English gets better I'd read them all in it's original written language !
Though I am currently studying biology in college, I love to learn different languages, and is so in love with the elegance and profoundness of Elvish! The workbooks on this site are truly amazing! Thank you for providing such great resources!

If anyone had happened to look out of a window on the east side of the palace, they might have noticed two figures in the darkness, dancing in a square bordered by living plants, out of time with the dancers inside but perfectly in time with each other.

Akatsunanosakana, the books are truly wonderful. You English looks more than good enough to read them according to me . It's true the Silmarillion can be a taugh nut to crack, but I think that even applies to native speakers. So don't worry, just enjoy them when you can, they are really worth it!
