Others have had this problem too and the site owner said that if you log in from the home screen instead of from the forums screen it won't make you log in everyday. I log in from there and haven't had a problem.

I have to log in everyday no matter what page I am on. Does it make a difference if you do not log out? I always log out.

If you log out when you leave then you will definitely have to log back in every time. But, if you log in from the Home page (and don't log out again) then you should still be logged in the next time you visit.

As a side note: Every once in a while the system will make you log in again, probably just a security measure.

The system logged me out last night but when I came to the site this morning, although I was still logged out, I could see our entire Realm and read posts. It hasn't done that before and usually shows this message: "Sorry, you don't have access to this page.", which it did on our welcome page.

EDIT: I can't see our main realm section on the main forum page, but I can access it through a link at the top of IE where I keep my quick links.

I have the feeling that someone has already posted this problem, but searching the Members List does not work for me. Not a biggie, but just thought I'd let you guys know. Thanks for being awesome, CoE team!

Not exactly something not working, but I didn't know where to put this. Upon logging in, CoE redirected me to the admin page to edit the forums, and, by the looks of it, I had access to everything... I'm really sure I'm not supposed to have access to that part of the site, and I had to reload CoE to get back to the forums.

I had the same issue as Aerena100. I got the Wordpress Admin page instead of the site page.

I'm sorry Ella but the edit function doesn't work for the time being. There are a number of problems with the site and it will take a few months before they get fixed. Please be patient.

I am having trouble singing into my CoE email account. I got a message this morning that my password was expired, so I created a new one and tried to sign in with the new one. The new screen said to wait for my browser to auto-redirect to my mailbox or to click a link to go their quicker. I waited and the page redirected to the Password creation page.

Assuming I'd done something wrong, I created a new password again. I chose to click the re-direct button this time and was taken to the log in page. I tried to sign in, and got the same message. I'm on my fourth new password; it's an endless loop of password changes and I can't sign into my email account.

I went to the e-mail site and was also prompted to sign in except mine accepted the new password and redirected without a problem and went straight to the e-mail box. Since the e-mail isn't actually a part of CoE so I am not sure anyone here can do anything about it since it is provided by an outside service. I will see what I can find out though.

Dolwen - my account finally let me sign in correctly last night and haven't had any issues since. Since I couldn't locate a "help" option directly with the email, I figured I'd try this. Glad things seem to be fixed now!

A few things have been going on here for me. Sometimes my chat bar does not come up, or when it does, if I change pages, it disappears and I lose who I am chatting with. Sometimes when changing pages, I just get an all white page with a bunch of numbers like..176%$*wsgf4#..Also, sometimes the page comes up just halfway or just all green. This happens almost every day. Oh, and sometimes I have to write a chat 3 or more times before it posts. Thank you...

Yes, i have had the same problem with the chat bar! And sometimes while chatting, it'll repost what i have said a few lines back. Just wondering ewhat that was about.
We were one in the same, running like moths to the flame. You'd hang on every word I'd say, but now they only ricochet.

I've had issues logging on for the past day or so. When I log on on the Main Page, everything seems fine but as soon as I click on Forums, I have to log on again.

I have that problem too, E~S, only it won't log me in on the Main Page. I have to log in the other way. :/ I don't mind, it's just weird.

OK so there have been a few issues with this new site but as the Empress has been busy lately it will have to wait. Once all the important probs. are ironed out there will be time for everyone to pitch in with gripes and wishes. Please be patient.

Meanwhile if you want to learn CSS you can design new themes for the site. I'd like to see a map-based theme.

The "Empress" .... are you trying to curry favour with our Fearless Leader?

As for the CSS, the tutorial is soooo confusing but I would like to learn it. I'm better with a "hands on" approach though so I'm looking for some kind of course I can take locally.

Okay so I have been away for about a year and when I last logged on the GMT London time zone had a glitch where you couldn't see the date someone had posted. Can someone tell me whether that has been fixed now so I can change it back?

I get the feeling it's pretty easy to fix actually, seems like an IF ELSEIF without a default, something like that. If only I had access to the code...I could really mess things up.
