Hi Scarlett-Alone, welcome to CoE.

I suggest you add a few more things to your introduction . 'Blah blah blah' and 'something something' don't really tell our members much. I could pick up some of your references, such as the song you're quoting, but many of our members might not. Greeting them all with Aussie slang that 80% of the world interprets as negative isn't really much of a friendly greeting either, even though you provided the explanation. So perhaps a little editing would help .

Greetings my friends,
I'm a 23 year old nurse student from Belgium ( the holly land of chocolate).
I have seen the Lotr movies and read the books when I was a teen but didn't gave it much interest. But it totally clicked when I decided to read the books again out of boredoom. It felt like a revelation of some sorts, I dreamt about it, thought about it 24/7. I became a really obssessed fan. So I decide to vent all of that energy reading fanfiction and even began writting one, expending my Tolkien library ( began reading the silmallion just yesterday). Then I thought to myself why not join other nuts like me? and so here I am =D.
I hope to be freinds with everyone here.

Hi CheesecakeFTW, welcome to CoE and an extra big hi from a fellow Belgian! Glad to have one of my country(wo)men joining us, it's been a while since I found one .
If you're willing, you can always share the fanfiction you wrote, we have a special section for that. Good luck reading the Silmarillion. It's tough at first, but it's oh-so-worth-it!

I am a 15 year old high school student from the United States. I am active in band and hope to have a career on trumpet. My hobbies include karate, kickboxing, and all things Tolkien, especially having to do with Lord of the Rings. My favorite Tolkien book is The Silmarillion. Can't wait to meet other LotR fanatics!

I am thirteen... My sister told me about this site and I HAD to join!!!! I read the lotr books, watched the movies and I even speak a little elvish already! I hope this site will help me learn more elvish.

Hi everyone! Welcome and all that, I am on every day, though in a different time zone to most, but I am always happy to chat when I am on!
If anyone had happened to look out of a window on the east side of the palace, they might have noticed two figures in the darkness, dancing in a square bordered by living plants, out of time with the dancers inside but perfectly in time with each other.

Greetings and Salutations! My name is Llama, and I hail from the muggy shores of Florida in the USA! I've been a fan of Tolkien and his works nigh on 14 years now, since I was a youngster in pigtails. (I blame our shared birthday.) I found this website while researching elvish language learning sites. I'm excited to begin my quest for knowledge! I'm a theatre technician when I'm not avidly reading or exploring the out of doors.
