"Happy birth... - come on in! - ...day, Arwen... Oh, when I get this one in... Now will you be coming or not! She doesn't bite! That's better!" *pulls Aragorn himself in the room and smiles like a sunshine* "I did it! Here's my present to you, my dearest!" *gives Arwen a huge hug and then pushes Aragorn closer to her* "Well, are you going just to stand like this? Kiss her! I'm sorry, he's shy to see so many girls around."

Anyway, I just wanted to say Happy Birtday!

I agree with you Vende! Its okay if the rp moves a little slower sometimes, and besides, I like writing rubbish posts. You get to learn more about the character as well as their surroundings and personality. If we were constantly moving fast we would have no time for all the babble. And we like babble don't we precious?(Sorry had to add that) I find all of those things exciting Leafy!!

-dances around hapily before stopping in front of Aragorn- Hi!

Erm......pointlessness. Yeah. I think I'm becoming well known for that around here..... -slinks out of room-

Yup stayed up all night long to watch it It deserved every one of those Oscars  (I think it should have gotten cinematography too but it won everything so no matter )

Hehe Vende, well as long as you don't scare him *keeps a sharp eye on Vende and sit protectively beside Aragorn* Don't worry - your pointlessness is always good to read

Alright Leafy no problem - I'll try and talk to you on Monday depending if I can find the number and don't scare people

Well everyone the main reason for posting here was to bid a fond farewell to ~GilEstel~ - it was great rping with you and I'm sorry to see you go I look forward to writing with you again sometime in the future Navaer!

Alright guys I think it's time to waken you all up a bit!! Clearly the sleep of Yavanna has still taken hold of you Yeah I know I haven't posted for a little either but I want to hold off as I hate writing short ones  And I know some of you have posted but there's a few of you who need to go on over and catch up a bit I'm not giving out but just as a little reminder before we move on so you're not bogged down with a load of back tracking or anything

Anyway now that that's out of the way - any progress on the riddles at all, riddlemakers?? No rush, just curious (I love to see all of your clever riddles )

Also - still trying to work out parts, hmmm.... now that I've finally got most of the plot clear in my mind for Edge I can start thinking about that a little more and where to slot you all in Well Rosie we've got you sorted anyway  And it'll be very interesting too - I can't wait

And one more thing which sprang into my mind recently All of you here - if any of you are interested in doing some live RP with Edge it'd be great It occured to me the other day as I've never done it with any of you before and I think it would be good as we could throw out some ideas and it would help for everyone to get to know everyone's charries better (including your own - it really helps to fit in your character much more as you get to know them)

Well if any of you are interested we could set that up - just let me know and we could arrange for a time to suit you all I think it would be easiest to do it on MSN (I prefer to do it there ) but if that doesn't suit we can arrange it elsewhere Anyway give me some feedback on that

Hey Arwen! Live Rping sounds like an awesome idea so count me in! I would prefer to do it on MSN as well. The only thing is, I don't have much experience with live rping so i don't know how good i'd be. Anyway, Vende do you still have that riddle you made?

Oi! Oop... erm, yes... somewhere.... -rummages around through pils of stuff and comes up holding riddle- But it's not very good.... It kind of slipped my mind......... I'll revise it though, see what I can come up with.... Many apologies...
Live Rping would be wonderful, but IM is forbidden to me.

Great! No it's fine - you'll be brilliant at it It's pretty much like writing a post except all our characters can interact with each other much more and it makes more realistic  Hmm...answering for Leafy (dunno where she is at the moment) I'd say she'd prefer MSN too

*eyes Vende's sheet of paper eagerly* Yay! I can't wait to see it  And of course it'll be brilliant!! I can feel it in my scar  lol - sorry guess I'm in a bit of a Levi mode tonight

Don't worry about it Vende - we could try and work something out I know that currently I'm trying to see if I can conjure up something for people who don't have IM - maybe if we could work out times, if you're online I could copy everything and then you could write back and I would include it or something...... Hmmm I dunno - my mind is starting to ramble now Well that might not work - I'm not sure but if anyone has an idea let me know or if you would prefer to leave it that's fine too

Well I had better potter off now and conjure up a post (or try to at least - my concentration is running very low at the moment so excuse it if it happens to turn out weird or not making sense ) Hehe Leafy - this Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome is doing nothing good to my brain :dizzy:

Greetings all! Yes I am here to nag  As (hopefully) most of have noticed we have moved on as I'm afraid we couldn't wait for a riddle as Edge went a bit downhill in the waiting so we are off again and I am eager to get Edge back to its usual posting 'standard' <-- is that the right word?! I remember when I would psot and the next day there were lots of posts after mine waiting to be read but now there has been three posts made at longer intervals and after my last post I have noticed no one has replied So don't tihnk that you don't have to check Edge for it is moving up a few gears once again!!

Now I know some of you have pm'd me giving me reasons and such and I completely understand that but for the rest of you - go and post as Leafy and I will be moving on again soon!

If you feel you have nothing much to do - just think of a few ideas and shove them into a pm to me and we'll work out some parts for your character okay? So post or pm me and we'll organise something for you to do

*bumps thread*

Hey everyone! It's been a long time since we've used this and I'm just leaving a note in here for you all :

**Edge is now picking up it's posting again though at a slower and more managable rate for even those with writers block. I am asking you all to go over and catch up as we will be reaching Lothlórien soon where the real plot begins and I can give your characters parts (providing you're with us and willing to write!!) I am asking if everyone could keep posting until we leave Lothlórien as I will be sending out pms to everyone to discuss the future of Edge. I hope to see you all posting and staying for the real plot to begin**

So get your thinking caps on!! Just remember I can't interact or include your character much if you don't post so the more you post the more I can include you!!

-deep breath- All right, well, I've got something to say here. I may sound snotty and conceited, but I am, honest to God, not trying to. The fact is that it's very hard to jump into an RP where a big group of very close-knit friends is invovled. I know none of you are doing it purposely, or maybe it's even just me, but I feel an awful lot like your characters are already such good friends and have such good relationships with each other that mine doesn't belong at all. Also, it's very hard to keep interest when you're reading about nothing but everyone else's love affairs and no one takes intertest in your character. I guess I just feel a bit excluded and that's why I've stopped contributing to the thread for the moment. It doesn't seem like anyone misses me much anyway.

I also realize that I probably could have worked harder to incorporate my ideas and Aidem into the story, but when only the leader of the thread has any awareness of your character it doesn't seem like it's worth it much anyway.

It was NOT my intent to offend anyone with this, and I'm very truely sorry if I have. I just thought I should let you all know that this is why I have stopped posting. I also apologize if any of you think I'm complaining. I'm not trying to, it just makes me sad to think I could be part of such a great thread, but have nothing to write about because I feel a little excluded.

Please let me apologize once more. And to all of you who are still keeping up, I admire you and think you're doing a great job! (I AM still keeping up, by the way, just not posting....)

Great to hear from you GreenEyedElf

Vende no need to apologise at all - I know exactly how you feel as there's nothing worse then just being a tag along That is exactly why I want to get us all to Lothlórien where I want to start making changes and seriously considering every character's role in this thread. The thread has been quite sticky for everyone at the moment (except for me - anything will amuse them including beating each other up  ) and I understand that it's been hard for you in particular but hey just the fact that you've been reading it is great news to me An idea did come into my head (and I securely locked it away!!) for something for Aidem however I wasn't sure if it would be any good or not as it mightn't be very characteristic of him, however I will discuss it with you whenever you've time and see what happens After all it's only one idea - I'll think of a few more. And one more thing - I do miss you!! - you're a fantastic writer and Aidem is a brilliant character... I love writing with you  Ah something I just thought of - we really should bring in Levi and Aidem's hatred for each other into this somehow

-sigh of relief- I'm glad to hear you understand how I feel and don't just think I'm an annoying little brat. I'll think up some stuff so I can have a long enough post and jump back in if I'm still welcome.

It's nice to know you've been thinking about Aidem, and I'd love to hear any ideas that you have, even if they seem un-characteristic of him. He's been cranky lately 'cause he's lonely.

So I could drop you a PM or you could drop me one, I guess! Whichever you prefer!

I really hope you'll stay. ^_^

PLOT TIME!!!!!!!! I can't wait to get going on this...I'm SO excited for my part, and Levi's and everyone's (that I know...even I am not let in on everything.). You're all wonderful writers and I can't wait to get to interact with you more!

Hello hello!

That's me! I'm glad to hear that this thread is not going to die anytime soon!

I must admit that Rovan is in a little better situation - he has been at least noticed by somebody else! However, I will be eagerly waiting for the plot ideas from Arwen!

Now, the bad part. Not only I don't have a MSN, but I am leaving work in one week, and I don't have a computer at home. I am planning to buy one, though, but it might take some time, and then I'll need to get the internet connection, too... So, I really don't know how I'll be managing this, but I don't want to leave this thread!

Hehe good to see you here Rosie dear  Well where would the fun and surprises be for you if I let you in on everything? Hehe yup we certainly do seem to have a lot of fun with LRP - and you are one of my favourite people to do it with It's addictive Not to worry if you don't have MSN we can always do it over pms - it takes much longer but it still works nonetheless

Hehehe  *rubs hands together* Right that's decided then - we need a girl for Aidem... *sparks fly* AND...that's given me a little twist for the plot....if it all goes to plan... well I have a few strings to pull and a pm or two to make so I won't say anything unless it works Hehe I love keeping people in suspense No problem at all - first thing I do after I post this is pm you!! *makes mental note*

Nifredil!! Great to hear from you  *nods* exactly - this whole thread is so divided - Raen's lil group and Evethire's lil group and there's just this big split down the middle like that. Only Raen and Evethire really talk to one another and even then barely at that... That is exactly what I want to change - I want to get to know the rest of you

I give you all full permission to talk to either of my boys at any time as they'll respond to anyone...though I wouldn't recommend Levi so much unless you're feeling in a particularly morbid or want a thrashing But Raen will talk to anyone and anything - he's a very friendly guy So lack of something to do...talk to them Or anyone else for that matter - I doubt anyone will complain! But I have decided now (though of course I'm not going to let on much ) that I'm going to include a time where we get separated and yup you guessed it - with people you don't know

Not to worry Nifredil we'll sort something out and keep you included until you are able to come back Don't fear when Wren is here!! (okay so sorry all but you've got me into such a happy mood I'm starting to lose control of my sanity here) I need Leafy to calm me down...speaking of which better round her up too

Ah yes - as for the plot...well I won't be letting on much at all - it'll spoil the fun and surprise And we don't want that! So I shall only be letting out bits and pieces as I work out your charries' roles I just hope everyone will like them. Well this is getting very long so I'm off to get cracking on my work

Yep, well, I posted. Doesn't everyone just feel ecstatic now? Sorry for just rambling on in that one, but Aidem wasn't mentioned to have followed Eorlas and Everthire and all them people, so I had to have him fall behind a little bit, which is truthfully just like him. Thank you all for tolerating him and his thoughts. Oh and thank you all for tolerating me and my sporadic posting habits as well.

And, like I said in my PM to you, Wren, I think thats a wonderful idea to split us up. (By the way, I can't wait to hear from you. You've all got me so excited about this thread again. Wheeee!!!!) I would really like to get to know everyone else's characters better.

This is off the topic, I know, but, Rosie, I was looking at you character profiles (Every once in a while I do that just to re-familiarize myself with people's characters.) and was wondering who did the pics of your characters, 'cause they're SO cute!!! And really well done too.

Later!

Oh and I hope you manage to figure out a way to stay, Nifredil!!!!!!!

Hey! You have no idea how happy I am for this RP to be kickin' up again. I'm not sure who came up with the idea of separating the characters with people they don't know, but I think that is going to be great! I do have MSN, just to clarify.

Nifredil, I hope you are able to get to a computer soon. I will, and I'm sure everyone else will miss you and Rovan. et:

Also, feel free to talk to Eorlas whenever you please. He is very nice, although doesn't usually strike up conversation with people he doesn't know and is never one to ramble. I'm sure Aidem and Eorlas could find something in common...if they reeaaaallly tried lol. I love when you get the feeling that you're just speaking for your character and they have a mind of their own.

Wren, Vende, GreenEyedElf, Electra, Nifredil, Elfgirl, Rosie, Elvish_Angel i would like to make an apology for my absence.

Yes I agree with all thats has been discussed in the last while. I think the chars could interact more. You can talk to Evethire, though this probably is a little hard right now but he is open to discussion. He at the moment thinks Rovan resents him from the fight. He hasn't got the measure of him yet at all. About Eorlas he trusts emmensly (cant spell) as he is his cousin and a good friend (I hope). Aireon is similar she is great. Then Sila, Ari, Raen and Levi he hardly understands at all coz he sees there strong bound freindship. As for Aidem he doesn't know either and he thinks of him as a friend of Raens . He is turning out to be pathetic, Evethire I mean but thats the way a character goes. He is not a good leader I know but it does help if people talk to him.
Hopefully when we are in the woods some of the strangers will talk!!

Sorry Vende about not posting after your post I think there was to be some live rping going in there but I dont know...

Sorry I needed to get that out of my system.

Oh, hey, it's fine Leafy. ^_^ I understand completely. I think Everthire is a great character, and don't worry, Aidem is turning out to be a complete and total wimp too. He's pessimistic, moody, morbid, and always rains on everyone's parade. To top it all off, he's insanely jealous. He's just pathetic.

So don't feel bad if Everthire isn't exactly a knight in shining armor right now. Sometimes characters just don't want to act how you'd like them to. If it's any comfort, maybe Aidem and Everthire can be wimpy together.

Thanx Vende -you make Evethire feel much better! Aidem is not a wimp at all, he is a brilliant char. I think he is quite mysterious at the moment. Its cool
Yes-I hope to talk more when we get in to the woods and Evethire can hand Altariel to the elves hopefully.

I hate to say it lads and lassies but : Please POST the rest of you.... anything.:heart::love:

This is off the topic, I know, but, Rosie, I was looking at you character profiles (Every once in a while I do that just to re-familiarize myself with people's characters.) and was wondering who did the pics of your characters, 'cause they're SO cute!!! And really well done too.

*beams* I did them myself! I'm so happy that you liked them!

I am especially proud of Sila's - although she's OBVIOUSLY in her full noble get-up there.

I did her eyes, too! Yay!

erm...back on topic...

Ditto for talking to Sila. If you REALLY want to start up a convo, mention something about A) her eyes (they're two different colors), B) Raen, or C) the fact that she acts sortof like a noble. (because she is) ^_^
