Hey guys! I love the siggie, but I'm already having problems with mine right now, so it might take me awhile to get it up! I was just wondering what role you want Alagithildin (and or Randir) to play in this little story of yours. I'm a bit lost at the moment, and I'm not really sure if there's anything you want my characters to do other than help Altriel. So if you could kind of push me in the right direction, perhaps give me a little background information or tell me where you want me to go with this I'd really appriciate it! Thanx!

Yay!! Go dragons!! That's cool Vende don't worry bout it!

Oh welcome back Rosie - that's a really good idea for the siggie except it still comes up as an x with loadsa spaces.... ah well I'll just try again!! This siggie sure is causing a lot of problems!!

ok ~GilEstel~ - I completely understand bout what you're saying *i think*. Alagithildin and Randir will have a bigger part to play (I rambled on about everyone's characters having a part to play some post long ago *looks back*) but first of all we have to get everyone together because there isn't really much they can do until then - but.... Leafy and myself do have a few surprises up our sleeves (which we do not want to give away) and so there will be more to do soon. Emmmm..... well we have to get your two and Altriel to join up with Evethire somehow...

once we get everyone together the rp will be more interesting for everyone and it won't be sprawled all over the place - I know it's a little meesy and confusing at the moment!

Hmmm.. this isn't really helping much is it?! Well if everyone just gives me some time I'll start planning out things for your characters to do and then I can pm you and discuss them - also if you have any ideas for your characters and what you want them to do yourself please let me and Leafy know!

So ~GilEstel~ if you work on meeting up with Evethire & Co and we shall work from there!

(ok I'm rambling once again!)

Righto I'm going to try this siggie one more time (Rosie's way! ) Here it goes.......... *crosses fingers*

[ img ]http://www.councilofelrond.com/modules/Journal/tmp/elvish_angel015_bann_arwen_ateoak.jpg[ /img ]

EDIT: Yay it WORKED!!!!! *dances around happily* Rosie you are a genius - we'd be lost without you!! *gives massive hug* Ok I better calm down... ya know - just a little exciting that it's actually working and everything!! Right well if you just take away the spaces in between the [img] bits when you paste it in your sig it shouold work!! WAHOOO!!!!! Rosie saves the day!

Im back! I really missed you all

Right...Well, Nifredil. I think Altariel could be part of the elves that were attacked by the orcs that Rovan found. About the whereabouts the treasure is, I going to think about it and return my answer soon. I think I need to figure out what Im doing! Can I tell you all tomorrow?
The map in the bow is a good idea though and all the riddles.

Sorry not able to think to night- Ill iron my mind tonight and tell you tomorrow!

I know its terrible! Thank you Vende for your concern! I was quite crumpled last night...
Okay now that my head isnt so fuzzy I can say this:

Altariel is a kin of the died elves that Rovan found.
The treasure is supposed to be around the Iron Hills. It could say so in a lost tale that it murmued around through the ages.
I think it is a good idea if Altariel knows of the harp and reconizes it. I like the idea of Arwens:

"This probably sounds really stupid but it's just a crazy idea - what if this whole family treasure/heirloom thing is really really ancient and no one has ever found it before and so maybe the riddle in the map sort of leads them to another riddle which will be guarded by traps and so on (sorta like a treasure hunt thing) and then eventually it will lead them to the map and then they can work out where the treasure actually is. "

A map with some riddles could fall out of the harp as there was a fight between Evethire and Rovan.
Evethire could discover it when Rovan brings it to Minas Tirith to sell it or use it or something.
Rovan could have something to do with the journey, he can seek for the orc you talk of. He could also claim to some of the treasure and say that the harp has been his for ages...
I dont know. This has probably not helped one inch!

YAY!!!!!!!! I got it to work I got it to work I got it to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *points happily to new sig* JOY!!!!!!
I LOVE it!!!!!!! *hugs new siggie, than carefully uncrumples it and places it back in it's designated spot* Yay!!!!!
Sorry for my weirdness, I'm just kind of out of it as I just laid around all day. (Fall break!!!) On the plus side, I did get around to starting my piccie for Aidem in his profile!

Yeah, that did help Leafy (for me, at least)! I'm happy your mind isn't so crumpled, and I hope the iron didn't scorch it, or something, since it's still kinda fuzzy.(That can happen, y'know.)

Welcome back Leafy! I made up a riddle that could be found in the harp with the map falls out. I hope you guys like it. If you don't want to use it its fine with me, or if you'd like to make any changes or add on's that’s perfectly fine as well.

There are hills of grey
skies of blue
And seas that cannot be fathomed of green,
Perhaps this riddle is all but a dream,
Moonlight will show,
much more than you know,
upon a hill
blanketed with snow.
You may recall a tale of old,
that of a treasure
so it was told,
Listen to these words and you will see,
A guide to treasure
this just might be.

The riddle could be at the top of the scroll when they find it, and the other half of the page is blank, but it could appear there should be words there. In the blank part there are clues hinting the location of the next scroll, which will eventually lead them to Evethire's family heirloom and the treasure.
The riddle basically is saying the clues at the bottom of the page are only visible when moonlight is directly overhead on a hill covered with snow. The hill could be located anywhere, maybe just outside the city of Minas Tirith.

Well that's it for now, talk to you all really soon!

Wow...!

Now that was something! GreenEyedElf, you are amazing! I would never have made anything this good!

Yeah, Leafy, it seems to me I have to start thinking more seriously about the reasons Rovan will be joining. I'll come up with something just after the weekend!

AMAZING! GreenEyedElf.

That is truely a work of art, you are wonderful.

Thanks to you too Nifredil, we wouldnt have such a cool idea without you. No pressure on why you're coming coz I have lots to do before I go but well probably leave in the same day, Im not sure. It depends on when we all meet up. Though I have to meet Altariel and we have to have the harp thing and find the cool riddle.
Raen and his pugnacious brother has to find us too, I think.
Otherwise I think everything will fit into place.
I will post later-going for lunch.

Hehe glad you got the siggie working Vende! Make sure you don't crumple it too much! Aww thanx Leafy for liking my crazy ideas!

Wow! I am speechless GreenEyedElf! That is absolutely AMAZING!!! You are so talented! I take my hat off to you (heh well I'm not exactly wearing one but you know what I mean!) I'd never be able to make something so good in my entire life!!

Raen and his pugnacious brother - mwahahahahahahaha!!  I like it Leafy! Hehe! Yep well we shall be meeting up with you as soon as we get over the whole Levi-kidnapped-Sila-and-Raen-didn't-do-anything-about-it situation and we have to get a few supplies too....

Well that's my bit of rambling for tonight! See you all later!!

Awww!!! *clutches all the cards, teddy bears and chocolatey things* Thanx Vende!! *huggles* I'm feeling a bit better today!! Poor Aidem though! You've gotta feel sorry for him!!

I think we should start planning out the journey soon, like how long its going to take, how far they travel in a day - that kinda thing. Oh and just a quick question - are they meeting up today and leaving or are they meeting up today and leaving tomorrow?

Ok, I've got it! What do you say if Rovan and Evethire with Altariel (to make the party better) run into each other in the Main Market of Minas Tirith. Rovan will go there to buy his knives and to sell the harp, and Evethire could notice the harp and claim it as belonging to him, and Altariel could claim it as belonged to her father (who was in fact only the keeper, but no one else knew it, he had planned to reveal it to her - if this theory is OK with you). Rovan would naturally deny Evethire's demand to return it back, because he found it. They could start arguing and then Evethire might invite him to the inn he is staying to discuss the matter more in privacy. And there they would start a quarrel, and the map would fall out.

Uh!

Well, what do you say?

Anyway, I'm bringing Rovan in Minas Tirith. I'll be away on the weekend, so don't expect anything from me until Monday!

Nifredil that is a great idea.
It sounds perfecto! If you make your way to Minas Tirith and start buying knives.
Wonderful - okay that will be our plan of action.

It doesnt matter when you post, Mondays fine.

Arwen maybe if you can keep your laddies busy until we have done that. How do you want to meet Evethire or indeed Altariel?, whoever you would desire.

TALK TO YOU ALL SOON!

Yeah, but he kinda deserves it, Arwen. And I'm glad to hear you're feeling better!
Anyway... Whatever you want sounds fine, Nifredil and Leafy, as that's mostly your concern.
It would be preferable for me, at least, for them to leave today (roleplay today, not today today... ), as it kinda seems Aidem and Levi are close to killing each other. But the main reason being that we're kinda taking a while. Not that I mind, I assure you, I don't! I love having all these wonderfully well-thought out, in depth posts, but at this rate, our thread will soon become one of the longest in the forum! Three pages for one day of action!

Well that sounds like an amazing idea Nifredil!! (even though I'm nothing to do with it it still sounds really good )

Yep I have to agree with you Vende it sure is a long rp seeing that we're only at the beginning but that's great it's cuz you're all such wonderful rpers!!! Hehe I think I'll get Raen to tell Levi to pipe down a bit and to leave Aidem alone - they haven't even left yet!

Ok Leafy, well mine are nearly ready to go apart from getting the last few bits and pieces. Emm... if they meet up with Evethire cuz they were told to look for him. Don't worry we'll find you! As for stalling them a bit... well I guess I can make them take a while to find you but I agree with Vende I think we should leave soonish!! Maybe if we meet you and then you can leave us with Altariel and Eorlas for a while while you do the harp scene? Oh hang on - she's gotta be there too.... Right well I'll think of something!

Ok I've gotta skedattle now so I'll talk to you all tomorrow!! (Oh leaving on a happy note - I'M OFF MY CRUTCHES!!!! WAHOO!!!! [sorry really over-excited about this!!] Well better go!! )

Well I know Im being quite slow! I try and hurry it.
Arwen Raen and Levi could watch the scene if it comes to that. Thay could follow Evethire into the inn that he is staying at. Just an idea, whatever you would like!
I just need to sort the quest out with the people in my room at the momento then I will find Nifredil, or should I say Rovan.
and we can have the harp argument and then we'll see what happens.

Hi sorry I have not been around, I had to turn my nose to my homework.

Well people I have a plan of a route but it might not satisfy wanted.
Well, I hope this isnt going to be too confusing!

>We seem to be in MINAS TIRITH.

>I think wew should stay on the left side of the ANDUIN.
So if we trek to the ENTWASH.

>Then I think we should by-pass EMYN MUIL.
We could go towards the WOLD, then to cross the LIMLIGHT.

>Evethire could have been planning to go to LORIEN to get advise from other Elves. They could stay there for a while for rest and to recover their strength.

>We could travel by water to the OLD FORD.

>Then we should travel to the FOREST ROAD through MIRKWOOD. Then we might stop at the Elves, to Evethires homeland.

>Then we could make for THE LONEY MOUNTAINS, to finish up at the IRON HILLS.

Hope this is okay for you all.

The harp can have the map inside with moon writing around it. To say where the treasure is, thats where the AMAZING riddle comes singing to mind, well done to GreenEyedElf!

Hey, hey! glad to hear that you're off your crutches, Arwen!

My comp access will be spotty for the next few weeks due to Finals, Christmas, and my move across the country. I've asked Loryn (aka elfgirl555) to write Sila for me in our two threads, but just to take some stress off of her, could you help, Arwen? I trust you with my character. (i don't know why... )

So, yeah. Thanks! and Merry Christmas!

Oh well I was planning that Levi kinda knows who you are and will tell Raen of what he saw (Asgar told them what Evethire looks like) and so they shall go along and find you!

Oh and I think that it looks like they probably won't leave until the next day because it is nearly late afternoon which is very late for starting out so they might have to wait until early morning - whatever suits but I think that 'one day' in our rp is a little long and we should shorten them up a bit so that we aren't posting hundreds of post and it's still the same day!

Alright I just want to let you know that I'm going away for Christmas until the 28 so I won't be able to go online! So Vende and Elfgirl - could you look after my boys for me? Thanks sooo much! Talk to you all soon and have a very Merry Christmas! I'll miss you all!!

I agree, the one billion posts in one day are a little long, but I'd like to keep it similar if that's okay with you guys. It's wonderful having a really in-depth roleplay and I think things will speed up once we're all in one place and kinda doin' the same thing.

Hey I'm back!! *dashes in* Ok I know I was back yesterday but I was so tired that I could barely post properly! *if there was a yawning smiley it would go here*

Well anyway I just wanted to say thanks to Vende and elfgirl as you both did an excellent job - I should leave them with you more often! Oh and I'm sorry I meant to leave something for you both to do but I was in such a rush I think I exited before my pm had sent to you Vende and so you never got it but never mind you both did an brill job anyway!

Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas

Yeah I agree Vende I love an in-depth roleplay and I like the way we have so much detail and have plenty of time to do things but it's been a little all over the place at the moment (at one point it was late afternoon for us and morning for others) but once we're together that should straighten out a bit!

Alright Leafy we are on our way - let's get the ball rolling! Oh I hope that it's ok for us to come now or do you need more time? Oh and have you worked out the amount of time the quest will take roughly? Like how far they will travel in a day?
