Arwen, (or Liv Tyler) was great, but id you read the book, she doesn’t come in till the second book! Log in to Reply
Well must everyone do everything by the book? Would anyone who hasn’t read the book be interested in this Log in to Reply
at least they didnt make it up, they took it from respectable sources (appendices) and yeah, the changes are.. Log in to Reply
harsh, but they help the book become film, its not like they could have kept EVERYTHING right Log in to Reply
I have read the books and I for one LOVE the way they use Arwen cause in the book she just pops up out of Log in to Reply
I think that it was cool that they put Arwen in this instead of Glorfindel. It made it more interesting. Log in to Reply
In the books, Frodo saw her speaking to Aragorn in FotR but we didn’t learn what they spoke of, then in TTT Log in to Reply
she wasn’t even mentioned. Then in RotK she sort of popped out of nowhere at the end and married Aragorn. Log in to Reply
While their relationship had been alluded to, it was never specified and was obviously meant as a surprise. Log in to Reply
Not including the appendices, Arwen has a total of two lines of dialogue in the books. Log in to Reply
Well Tiúmelë if I went to a foreign country my name wood b the same. And for ppl who hadnt Log in to Reply

I prefer Arwen anyway — not that I wasn’t wondering about Glorfindel. Arwen just seemed better. Log in to Reply
