  • RingCon – Seattle 29th-31st October

    RingCon, a LotR convention, will be held at the Doubletree Hotel in Seattle on 29th-31st October. Events include the Fangorn Forest Fantasy Masquerade Ball, an art show and guest appearances including Bruce Hopkins (Gamlin from the LotR movies).   • Tolkien in Birmingham and beyond

    The University of Birmingham are running a guided tour of the places in and around Birmingham, UK, that had a special meaning for JRR Tolkien. The tour runs from Friday 16th July to Sunday 18th July. There’s further information at ic Birmingham.co.uk.

  • Sean Astin on Ellen
