J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit now has an Irish-language version to be published in this near end of 2005. The book was translated by Nicholas Williams who has previously translated a number of books into Irish. Go to Slovobooks.com for more information.

Happy birthday to two of our favorite hobbits, Bilbo and Frodo. At the start of LotR Bilbo turned 111, Frodo turned 33 and came of age. Note: Click here for some great CoE Hobbit Day eCards to send to your friends.
