On January 3rd, 2003, J.R.R.Tolkien would have turned 111 years old. Stuff New Zealand reports that this upcoming birthday has special significance, as it is the age when Bilbo Baggins, one of Tolkien’s most beloved characters, threw his “party of special magnificence.”
