Tolkien weekend
The seventh Tolkien Weekend will take place at Sarehole Mill, Birmingham, UK on 13th and 14th May. This year’s theme is The Shire and events will include themed walks, an exhibition entitled “Tolkien’s Boyhood in Birmingham”, archery and excerpts from The Hobbit performed by Shire Productions. LotR stage show run extended
The ‘Lord of the Rings’ stage show in Toronto has had its run extended until 24th September. The show was due to end its run in June, but a further twelve weeks of tickets have gone on sale, along with a lower entry-level price of $26. Read more at Yahoo.

On 21st May the Colorado Symphony Orchestra will perform Howard Shore’s Lord of the Rings Symphony at Boettcher Concert Hall, Denver, CO. On 24th and 25th June 2006 the symphony will be performed by the Royal National Scottish Orchestra at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow, Scotland.

Daniel Reeve to attend Elf Fantasy Fair
