    On Tuesday 26th September, at Marquette University, Tolkien scholar Eduardo Segura will speak on the topic of; “Tolkien, Lewis and Hollywood: What Images Cannot Say”.   • Lord of the Rings Symphony returns to Seattle

  • Lethian – the opera

    On 1st July the world premiere of part one of the opera Leithian will take place at Liederkranz Hall, New York City. The opera tells the story of Beren and Lúthien up to the time Beren is rescued by Lúthien from Sauron’s dungeons. There’s further information at adamcjklein.us.

  • Stage version of LotR closes on 3rd September

    Currently being performed at Toronto’s Princess of Wales Theatre, the stage version of Lord of the Rings will close on September 3, having played 230 performances in 31 weeks.   • Hobbits come to London

    The musical version of “The Lord Of The Rings” is set to open at London’s Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in 2007. The £25m adaptation of “The Lord of the Rings” will be shown for the first time in London on 19th June 2007 after its initial run in Canada.

  • Toronto Gathering urgently needs more attendees
