Singing in Elvish
The Chicago Children’s Choir are busy learning Elvish for the forthcoming performances in Chicago of Howard Shore’s LotR symphony. Part of their preparation will include about 40 hours of singing practice in Elvish. Josephine Lee, artistic director of the choir said, “Singing in Elvish is similar to singing in Latin”. Lord of the Rings concert with Christopher Lee
On 9th September, The Netherlands Theatre Orchestra with Christopher Lee, will present a programme of music from LotR. This will include works by Howard Shore, Johan de Meij and Caspar Reiff. The performance will be held at The Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Tickets can be ordered online here.
