Peter Jackson has given Lord of the Rings fans a better idea of what they can expect when he releases the extended version of The Two Towers this fall. To read the article, go to Film Force.

According to the official site, The Two Towers will be available for pre-order May 9th. Ten minutes of RotK goodness! Extended TTT info! And Sean Astin’s indie film, “The Long and Short of it”.

From a press release at the official site: the theatrical release will be followed by “a distinctly different four-disc Special Extended DVD Edition November 18, 2003.” The press release doesn’t make the waiting any easier, I know…

According to Coming Soon, the theatrical DVD release date of the Two Towers will be August 26th. That’s later than last year!
