  • The Lord of the DVDs

    Although he is never actually seen himself, producer Michael Pellerin is the man behind all of the interviews, documentation and footage from the Extended Edition DVDs. In this article at Alumni News, he talks about his work on the DVDs, his career, and his collaboration with Peter Jackson.

  • Trilogy DVD boxset

    At DVDAnswers there’s a picture of the Lord of the Rings trilogy boxset artwork. The boxset will be on sale from 25th May and will contain the 6 theatrical DVD’s. It will retail for about $89.98.

  • RotK DVD details

    The official site has confirmed that the RotK theatrical DVD will be released on May 25th this year (though there is still no word on the extended edition release date), and there is also a new video, featuring Peter Jackson and the cast.

    You can read the official press release from New Line here. This includes the US prices for the DVD and video and that, “A special extended edition of The Return of the King will follow as planned in time for the holidays.”
