Trilogy DVD boxset
At DVDAnswers there’s a picture of the Lord of the Rings trilogy boxset artwork. The boxset will be on sale from 25th May and will contain the 6 theatrical DVD’s. It will retail for about $89.98.

RotK DVD details
The official site has confirmed that the RotK theatrical DVD will be released on May 25th this year (though there is still no word on the extended edition release date), and there is also a new video, featuring Peter Jackson and the cast.

RotK DVD
There’s some interesting news at dvd.ign about both the RotK DVD and possible future versions of the movies. PJ has finished the edit of the extended cut of the DVD (but WETA now have 350 more effects shots to do!) and when he finishes King Kong he says he would like to do high-definition versions…

According to the home entertainment section at the official site, details of the RotK DVD will be released on March 8th (no word yet on the actual DVD release date, though). Just go here and a pop-up should appear, where you can also see the cover art for the DVD and VHS.

Howard Shore and the RotK EE DVD
