The Two Towers is BBC Film 2003 film of the year!
The Two Towers has been voted the Film of the Year in a BBC poll. Fellowship of the Ring won the title last year. The Two Towers beat other block buster films like Kill Bill, Pirates of the Carribean, and Finding Nemo to take the top spot! You can read the full story at BBCi.

RotK nominations in the Online Film Critics Society Awards
RotK has been nominated in 10 categories in the Online Film Critics Society Awards. The categories include; best picture, costume design and supporting actor (Sean Astin). There are more details at BBC News. The winners are to be announced on Monday 5th January.

LotR wins BBC Big Read!
The Lord of the Rings has won the BBC Big Read with 174,000 votes (23%) beating Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice with 135,000 votes. His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman came 3rd with 65,000 votes.
