A new theme to honor prof. J.R.R. Tolkien!
This theme focuses on the Professor himself; it’s a homage to him, if you will. The theme is nice and light and easy to look at for those of you who are not very fond of bright or dark colors. Enjoy!

Tired of January? How about Afteryule?
The Council of Elrond now offers an option to have the date in the themes display as the date as it would be in the Shire, instead of our own Gregorian date! To change to and from Shire Dates, go to “My Account” and then click “Change your info”.

Announcing the new Rivendell theme!
Our site now has another new theme, made to look like Rivendell. Members can now browse the Council of Elrond, Rivendell style!

New theme especially for dial-up connections!
CoE has added a new theme called DeadMarshes. The theme is unique in the respect that it doesn’t contain any images at all; it’s quite a relief for people with slow connections. Enjoy!
