An Apple for the Ring
An article at the Hollywood Reporter reveals how Peter Jackson and the technical crew relied on Apple iPods to send their digital dailies for TTT and RotK halfway round the world. Media would be sent from New Zealand to PJ in London where he would upload Weta’s new shots and sequences onto his 30-gig iPod.

RotK continues to climb the charts
The latest charts at Box Office Mojo show that Return of the King has moved up 3 places since last week and is now number 6, with worldwide gross box office takings of $876.5 million. RotK has now overtaken Finding Nemo, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and The Fellowship of the Ring!

Return of the King is still climbing the charts
The latest charts at Box Office Mojo show that Return of the King has moved up from number 14 to number 9 with worldwide gross box office takings of $825.7 million!. RotK has overtaken Spider Man, ET and Star Wars and is now less than $7 million behind Finding Nemo.
