    Tolkien illustrator Ted Nasmith has updated his official site with news about his forthcoming appearances in 2005. These include; Ringbearer’s Day in New York on 19th March and A Long Expected Party in Oslo, Norway on 4th-7th August.

  • Sixth annual Tolkien weekend

    The sixth annual Tolkien weekend will take place on 14th and 15th May at Sarehole Recreation Ground and Moseley Bog, Birmingham, UK. Events will include; Tolkien archives, have a go archery, guided walks and bus tours to ‘The Two Towers’. There are further details at birmingham.gov.uk.

  • The LotR symphony in Portland, Oregon

    On 17th and 18th September the Oregon Symphony Orchestra will perform the Lord of the Rings symphony by Howard Shore. The performance will be conducted by Alastair Willis and will feature the Portland Symphonic Choir and the Pacific Youth Choir. There are further details at orsymphony.org.
