  • Lord of the Rings TCG – Bloodlines

    Bloodlines, the third set in the War of the Ring block, is due for release on 15th July. You can view previews of some of the new cards (including Frodo, Frenzied Fighter) here and there’s an article on Elves and Uruks here.

  • Lord of the Rings Exhibition – Indiana

    Tickets for the LotR exhibition at the Indiana State Museum will go on sale to museum members on 1st July and to the general public on 1st August. The exhibition opens on 6th October 2005 and closes on 3rd January 2006.

  • LotR ticket sales reach $7 million

    Advance ticket purchases for the stage version of Lord of the Rings reached $7 million (Canadian) in the first week of sales. The production will premiere in Toronto in February 2006. You can read the full story at Playbill News.

  • The Gathering of the Fellowship Festival – 2006

    The Gathering of the Fellowship Festival will be held in Toronto from 1st to 4th July 2006. Events include a Tolkien academic conference, a triple-feature marathon of the LotR movies and a themed banquet with live music and masquerade competition.   • Tolkien 2005

    To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete publication of the Lord of the Rings, the Tolkien Society is holding a conference and convention from 11th to 15th August at Aston University, Birmingham, UK. You can find further details about the event at the Tolkien Society’s website here .
