Minister is “a hobbit at heart”

Mythopoeic Society awards
The winners of the 2005 Mythopoeic Society awards have been announced. Janet Brennan Croft received the Mythopoeic Scholarship Award in Inklings Studies for her book, War and the Works of J.R.R. Tolkien. There’s a list of all the winners at the society’s website here.

Ian McKellen – official site update

Rings research
In 2003-2004 Professor Martin Barker, from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, carried out some research to look at reactions to The Return of the King movie.
