  • Lost Art of The Hobbit

    Illustrations not used in previous editions of The Hobbit were discovered by researchers at the Bodleian Library in Oxford. The pictures will feature in a new book “The Art of The Hobbit”. You can read more and see some of the pictures here and here.

  • Filming in Matamata

    Stuff report that the film crews have arrived at the Hobbiton set in Matamata. A source said they started arriving on Saturday. So far none of the stars of the movie have been spotted. According to Stuff; “The filmmakers have consent for shooting at Hobbiton lasting no more than 15 days before November 8”.
