Marquette University adds to collection
Marquette University, Milwaukee, which owns the original manuscript of “Lord of the Rings” is obtaining 2,376 more items from collector Grace E. Funk. Archivist Matt Blessing is quoted as saying it has “”tremendous intellectual value”. The new items will go on display mid-2004. For more information go to Yahoo! News.

Be part of an online LotR research project

LotR convention begins in Canada
The Gathering of the Fellowship LotR convention held in Toronto Canada has begun. It runs through to the 17th, and features workshops, film screenings and more. Proceeds go to ProLiteracy Worldwide. for more information go to tolkiengathering.
