Hobbits come to London
The musical version of “The Lord Of The Rings” is set to open at London’s Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in 2007. The £25m adaptation of “The Lord of the Rings” will be shown for the first time in London on 19th June 2007 after its initial run in Canada.

New addition to Elrond’s Library

Karen Wynn Fonstad dies at 59
Author and map-maker Karen Wynn Fonstad died on the 11th March 2005. While best known to us as the author and map-maker for “The Atlas of Middle-earth”, Karen was also a freelance map-maker and a part-time lecturer at the University of Wisconsin. You can see many of her maps in our Gallery’s Map section.
