First Edition Hobbit Book Sold
As seen on CBCnews.ca, a signed first edition copy of the Hobbit has been sold at auction to an anonymous buyer who reportedly paid the whopping sum of about $120,000 U.S. dollars. Also sold was the last known photo of Tolkien, and fetched about £864 pounds, roughly $1800 U.S. dollars.
