Happy Birthday Lawrence Makoare
Lawrence Makoare, was born in Bastion Point, New Zealand on March 20th 1968, is 37 years old today. Lawrence played the Uruk-hai leader Lurtz in FotR and in RotK he played the Witch-king of Angmar and Gothmog. You can read his cast bio here. Many happy returns Lawrence!

Three or four years to The Hobbit?
Herald Sun report that when asked how long it would be before he started production on The Hobbit, Peter Jackson replied, “Three or four years would be accurate, I would say.” Note: Before the film can be made there are still issues that need to be resolved relating to the rights to The Hobbit.
