Time Warner, MGM and The Hobbit
Comingsoon.net report that it looks increasingly likely that Time Warner will, “swoop in and purchase MGM”. As MGM holds the worldwide rights to The Hobbit, this would make it possible for New Line Cinema, which is owned by Time Warner, to pursue filming The Hobbit.
