The latest teaser picture for the forthcoming adaptation of the Hobbit has been released, showing a trio of hardy warrior dwarves. The exciting image shows the brothers Dori, Nori and Ori, and was posted on the movie’s official Facebook page. See it here.

Peter Jackson is in a stable condition in the intensive care unit of Wellington Hospital following surgery for a perforated ulcer. He is expected to make a full recovery but will need to stay in hospital for several days. The full story can be read here.

Ian McKellen has confirmed on his official website that he will be playing Gandalf in The Hobbit movies. He wrote that his; “worry that I could not easily escape from Middle Earth was lifted” and that filming starts in New Zealand on 21st February.
