  • Another screenwriting award for Peter, Fran and Philippa!

    Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens have won the Best Script award for TTT at the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America Nebula Awards. The winners were announced on Saturday, and TTT beat films such as ‘Finding Nemo’ and ‘Minority Report’ to win the award.

    According to Sunday Herald, Shelob from The Return of the King, has been voted one of the best movie monsters ever. The giant spider made the list at number six; the top spot was taken by King Kong, from the 1933 film of the same name which Peter Jackson is currently remaking.

  • RotK comes out top once again

    ‘Return of the King’ has won yet another award: this time, it’s The Christian Film and Television Commission’s Movieguide Awards. In the ceremony held on Wednesday, the film took the Number 1 spot in a list of the top 10 films for mature audiences. Read more at World Net Daily.
