On BBC1 (UK) at 9:30pm GMT the French and Saunders Easter Special: The Egg will air tonight including a parody of the beloved film Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring
From The Gaurdian G2: Returning for a one off special the first time since 1999 Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders have The Lord Of The Rings in their sites. Following on from the duos previous and utterly merciless demolitions of Titanic and Star Wars: Phantom Menace, we are promised a version of J.R.R. Tolkiens story that involves a lengthy quest for an Oscar. Should be fun!
