I agree it’s ridiculous. I would expect Orlando to do it for less for the “fellowship of the cast” sake. At least I would expect him to be happy to simply see rest of the cast again.
If I’m not mistaken, $1 million is not that much of a salary compared to some other actors out there.
Secondly, the article did not mention that Orlando demanded this salary–it was offered to him. Regardless of whether you think he’s a good actor or not, he’d be a fool not to accept it. So before everyone starts jumping on this, let’s see what happens first.
