The popularity for all things LotR & Tolkien is waning. A lot of LotR websites are shutting down and few stores are even ordering LotR things any longer. Not even the large bookstore chains have all the 4 most popular books on hand at one time now.
It is sad, but I am afraid “The Hobbit” movie will be shelved before much longer. That is why production keeps getting postponed.
CoE members are now among the few remaining faithful lovers of this great story.

Disappointing, but not entirely unforeseen. If they do a good job, there’s no harm in waiting.
