A moneymaking exercise methinks. The Hobbit is definitely short enough to be made into a single film. Does this mean they’ll be filling the extra time with fabricated events?
well, I’m not completely sure that’s a good idea…if one on the LoTR-books fits in one movie, then the Hobbit should too… but of course that won’t generate as much money as two movies… anyway, we’ll have to wait and see what it looks like…
Aw… using the second movie as a link to LOTR with events from the appendices would have been awesome! Like people have pointed out, The Hobbit really only needs one movie…
