I have tried and tried to get tickets to the Trilogy on Dec 16 and every theatre sold out before I could get them! I’m in southern Wisconsin and there are 3 theatres in my area. ALL GONE!!!
I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope New Line sends out more prints so there will be more tickets available. I talked to the Chicago theatre and they’d be thrilled to get more prints!
Who’s gotten tickets and how did you do it? On line or in person?
the theater in my city handed out wristbands yesterday, my dad went and got one, since i couldn’t get out of work. today they have the sales going, based on the number on your wristband. he said there were about 60-80 people in line to get bands, and the theater is limiting sales to 4 or maybe 6 tickets per person right now… and it’s supposed to be in the nearly 500 seat theater. I’m pretty confident i’ll have tickets. so, if you can make it to Lansing, MI, you might be able to get tickets!! but right now they are only selling through the box office, no phone or internet orders…. sorry!
I looked at the list of places, and there’s none in Wyoming. I was very upset. But I hope that Peter Jackson put’s together a complete package after RotK. I will be willing to wait for that. 🙂
For those LOTR fans in Maryland, Tickets in Baltimore do not go on sale till saturday! But if anyone is interested in meeting up, please PM me!! maybe we can work together to get tickets!!!

Movietickets.com told me this morning that tickets would be available for purchase on-line at 1:00 p.m. EST. I was on-line at 1:00 trying to buy tickets and their server was down. Six hours later and now I have tickets! If you live in the Tampa Bay Fl. area there seems to be plenty of tickets available right now.
I got tickets. Not in my state (Wisconsin) nor in nearby Illinois, but in TENNESSEE!! Seems the Franklin theatre near Nashville still has them. So, I’ll be driving or flying down south in December. Any Wisconsinites or Illinesians want to car pool?
Hi Rivka! Remeber me? One of the original members of Council of Elrond.. Just saying hi to all the old members….I di get my trilogy tickets for the 16th in Winston Salem, NC!! I am one of the few lucky ones. I bought mine off of Fandango….Write me back Rivka I miss you!

I’d like to do it, but I sincerely don’t think I’d last.:) Plus I’ll have the extendeds at home all to my little self:)
