as long as they have more Eomer, im good. i was dissapointed that they have so little of him in ROTK, and im upset that hes not king!!! cmon! you cant change that! they better have Aragorn’s healing everyone because that was a major part of the book, somewhat proving his kingship. i was upset with some of the details left out which i hope are put in to the EE version, and from some of the plot changes. i know that some change is inevitable, but some could easily have stayed the same. im glad that they intend to put in a lot of extra film because although the movie was great, i think some of the removed details were important.
Im very glad that the Return of the King will go for 5 hours, that would be great.
I think they did a good job with removing some scenes from the book. Obviously they cannot have everything, and what they do put into the movie may be considered useless to some, but important to others. Some people say that much more detail should have been included, but to do so would take so much time, time that non-tolkien-freaks do not have. Its all well coming from a fan’s point of view saying they didn’t include enough, but perhaps we all need to see it from the producer and directors point of view also.
