No, she isn’t in the book. Not sure how I feel about that since there are so many characters in the book but we have to trust that Peter Jackson will do as great a job on The Hobbit as he did with LOTR. He changed the books for the movies and the movies are great. We will have to wait and see. Is this called poetic license?
