Member of the Month: an interview with Dream~Giver

How did you find CoE?
I was 12 at the time actually. I was trying to find out about the release date for The Two Towers Extended Edition. After “exploring” the site for a bit, I fell in love with it.

What are you favorite areas of the site?
Definitely the forums. I love to discuss certain topics and see what others feel about it as well. My most favorite forum, however, would be my Realm’s Forum: Varda. The people there are wonderful.

How often do you visit CoE?
I visit CoE everyday, really.

How many times have you read the books?
I’ve read them once. I’m trying to read them for a second time.

Who is your favorite LotR character?
Books: Gandalf
Movie: Gandalf

Do you have a favorite scene from the Trilogy?
My absolute favorite scene was in RotK EE, when Arwen had the vision of her son. I know it’s not in the books and not canon, but that part just really sincerely touched me. And it didn’t hurt that the actor playing her future son looked just a bit like my own little boy.

What character left out of the films do you miss most?
Elladan and Elrohir.

Do you know any Sindarin or Quenya?
Erm, no. I tried to learn Sindarin, but I gave up for some reason. ^^

What did you enjoy most about the ROTK EE?
Éowyn and Faramir.
