10. Bunny Generators. Ever wondered of weird and crazy Varda bunnies? Well, they are all present here to accompany you while in the thread. This is one aspect of our craziness. Can you imagine? Having those bunnies around is fun to talk about. Actually, the bunnies are made by our voluminous minds, and we care to give our own-made bunny a fruitful name, while our fellow Vardians add descriptions to them as we proceed with our Varda Games. These bunnies are really fun and enjoyable to talk about with, especially in the Varda Games, you won’t notice you’re much enjoying till you completed the description of a bunny in such a game. Although the bunnies don’t have their own game, as they linger upon other games, they are really present all the time with smiles on their faces, letting you know that it’s time for fun. And as we think about these lovely bunnies, soon they will have their own game.
9. Varda Polls. All Vardians are addicted to Polls! You just have to click and discuss and you will really be content. Vardians love polls! Polls are a very good way to get to know each other, and the Realm in general. They cover a broad range of topics, used for both fun and to vote for contests. Often, good discussions are started by the poll, when members post what they voted for. Opinions are discussed, and the conversation is always enjoyable. Anyone can post a poll, and discussion is always encouraged! Even touchy subjects, such as religion, have polls, but fights never break out over those subjects.
8. Varda’s Round Robin. We have our very own Round-Robin. This declares unity for all of us Vardians! Basically, among all the sections of every forum that you see, you’ll find a Round-Robin section. Well, if you’re enjoying this little game, Varda has it too! We have our very own Round Robin thread exclusive for the Vardians in our forum. Round Robin is a game, making continuous verses from fresh minds, not only by one, but by any member who wants to post. This is simply a fun game and we really love our topic, of course, related to Varda! Round Robin is really a good game, especially when you know other players of this simple game. This could also provide you with good knowledge, as we share our own ideas by writing for the game.
7. Exclusive RPG. One very nice feature of the Realm of Varda is that we have two exclusive RPGs for our members. These RPGs help bring us together, and add a touch of adventure to our online time. Anyone new can jump in, and every new character adds more variety and “spice.” There is romance and adventure in each one.
6. Constellation Myths. These are great to read and very interesting too. It is a little story made by Vardians related to Mythology and Varda. The members of the Realm of Varda love the stars and LOTR. Therefore, a thread has been created to mix the two in Vardians’ own writing. The “Constellation Myths” thread lets Vardians pick a constellation in the sky and write a myth for it, set in Middle-earth. For example, someone might pick Orion, and make up a story of a great Elven hunter who was killed defending his family from a bear. Or, someone may pick the “Sickle” (or the Big Dipper) and write another myth about it. Members are not limited to one constellation per myth (several have been written including two constellations), nor are they limited to writing only one myth. Also, constellations are allowed to be written about more than once by us. All in all, there is already a very diverse range of constellation myths to read, and many more that have yet to be written.
I do wish you’re keeping your belts tight, we are now going to the deeper part of the ride and you must notice that every time you go to the lists, stars are getting bigger and bigger, not only in your eyes, but also adding to your passion. We must now proceed to the bigger part, so keep your eyes wide and observant.
5. Varda Games. They are really good and a nice way to find out what each other likes and dislikes. Like TSAM thread and stuff! Varda games are a great way to get to know your fellow Vardians. There are many different ones to participate in, and new ones are appearing all the time! The games threads (which are already large) are growing, because members sometimes post a new game that they have seen (or made up). Plus, the actual threads get posted in many, many times a day, making them always fun and enjoyable to read. Besides the well-known “get-to-know-you” games, there are a couple of other threads that let you post poems, song lyrics, etc. in a long chain with words linking all the posts. Overall, the games are addictive (in a good way), and a great way to get to know each other! They will always remain very active, and some of the most fun threads.
4. Varda Contests. It is, indeed, interesting for some people to have *at least* two contests to enter in a month. We love contests! In Varda, we have at least 2 contests going on at one time. The contests that we now have, among others, are a poetry contest, art contest, and photography contest. Usually there are at least five entries for each contest, although the number is often much higher. When a member wins a contest, he/she gets awarded several user points, as well as the privilege to choose the next topic for the contest. The topics of the contests may run from “ghosts” to “imagination” (as in the poetry contest), or “stars” to “landscapes” (for the photography contest), and many more. Contests run for about 16 days every month, and voting runs from the end of the contests to the 1st of the next month. After the contest is over, a new thread is made where we can vote on a poll. The contests provide a bit of friendly competition, a chance to get new user points, to use our creative skills, and they always provide a lot of fun!
3. The Name Factory. This is one of the best things we have here in Varda. You can have the silliest name ever and propose your craziness in our certain thread. This is one of the things that really make us bond. You’ll find this a little bit tricky, but no, this thing is real, another part to quench you thirst for craziness. Yes, we have this silly Name Factory! As simple as says the name given by our genius founders, who are also Vardians, we give crazy names to the Vardians who request them. Not only does the crazy name reflect you, but you’ll also notice a mysterious word in the name that you don’t know, simply because it’s your attitude that you’re not aware of, and that we know. The Name Factory is a really enjoyable thread, with lots and lots of craziness to give. Also, our own thoughts about our names are included, to add yet another simple spice that makes your Internet life more satisfactory.
2. The Question & Answer Thread. Our professional astronomer Eldirn, who works in the US space program, opened this! You can tell everything about the skies and seek information that is reliable. This little precious one is really reliable! Thinking that you’ll just have to ask the questions about astronomy that have been running in your mind, and precise answers will spread in a short time. This Question & Answer thread assures you that your questions are to be solved by our genius Eldirn. It is really a great thing to be provided with a little knowledge on one of your interests in life, stars and other parts of the universe. Honestly, interest in astronomy is really a big deal, because it affects your knowledge through the things that you learn from this thread! You will surely like astronomy (if you don’t, already) with this thread.
