I never thought LOTR was capable of being a musical. o.o There may be alot of poems and short songs in the books, but the thought of Strider singing Broadway-style kinda makes me feel…. I dunno… uneasy? *shrugs* I can’t think of another way to put it.
I LOVE musical…like LOVE…but it seems stupid to recreate the most difinitive, compelling story (of all time) and make it a stage production. One thing…they’d make ONE muscial! How!?????!!! And another, I coun’t imagine much of it without Howard Shore. If they’re gonna do it, get the right music first.
I can’t really imagine it to become such a great success if they won’t have Howard Shore on the project, I mean, he made the music in the Lord of the Rings so telling, almost like the music could tell the story as well as the pictures… I don’t know, it just wouldn’t be the same without him on it…
this definetly sounds to me like it is going to be a complete disaster. I mean, I obviously love LOTR. And I certainly love musicals/broadway as well. But you just cannot put those two together!!!! There is no way! This should be interesting to watch.
