  2. “Canon” is not a gun… And it is true that since the media book and film are so entirely different, you cannot just transfer one from the other. How do you get inside somebody’s head in a film? In a book it’s easy.

    Having said all that to defend Shippey, I found the article singularly boring. I trust Celien’s report has more information!
