Thanks for posting this! He is not how I always imagined him, but he is not as bad a I thought. He looks quite gruff but also friendly in a way.

You hit the nail on the head, Tarc. I was wracking my brains wondering who he reminded me of. Wolverine. Yes. I’m not crazy about it.
Heh, so I’m not the only one who thought “Wolverine.” I thought the first, so-called “scary” image of Beorn was a lot better. Ah well.
I suppose this is the Beorn that Gandalf and company will meet before Mirkwood. Can always swap eyebrows with Thranduil.
I always imagined him with a big hairy beard but, eh, he’s not too bad.
