I think Luke will create a memorable character out of Bard. Due to his not having seen the script but knowing the book will prove invaluable once the script is handed to him. Not my original choice for Bard, but he has the physique and talent and will fit in easily with the other actors once his role gets under way.
I’m seriously just really glad there’s going to BE a Bard. I had serious worries that he would be written out since we heard nothing about casting him for so long. Luke Evans seems like a good pick.
