Because Woodinville, Washington State, is just outside of Seattle. I would have titled it “Seattle Area,” but that just doesn’t have the same ring to it. Seattle’s the nearest big city to Woodinville that out of state people generally know about. I’m not from Seattle “per se”, but since I live about 45 min. from there, I tell people that when I’m out of state or country so they can get a sense of location.
Also, Seattle has everything to do with Washington, since it’s our biggest city, and rather nice one, imo. 🙂
