It’s so sad; my husband, who’s not a serious LOTR fan, *is* a serious fantasy art fan, and used to have Hildebrandts and Vallejo prints in the living room. When he read it in the Globe on Sunday, he mentioned it to me because we read ‘Fellowship’ for our SF readers’ group, which meets today (Tuesday, 6/20), and we’ll probably mention Tim’s passing. Hmm, living room got painted and we never did put up the prints again… I’ve got a map with a mountain and a dragon and a treasure and a tower and a ring… see if there’s a frame it’ll fit into… !
