Well LOTR was a hard trilogy to turn into movies but I think Peter Jackson did a GREAT JOB!!! I would of never thought he was doubting Peter Jackson or the movies – I think Ian McKellen did an AMAZING job playing Gandalf, he was so convincing! Im sure many people did doubt the ability to turn the books into movies but I think we all know they did a wonderful job!!
The comments by Ian McKellen really surprised me. He has been in so many crummy movies, that he should have just “felt” LOTR was going to be great. The Weta Workshop alone should have convinced him. The sets should have been another clue to the greatness of LOTR.
