1. What is your favourite flavour jelly bean?
Cherry, I think. The ones that are red.
2.What is your middle name?
Janette.
3. Do you have a pet?
Yes, a cat named Mazzy and a goldfish named Kodachrome. (Please keep in mind that Mazzy actually owns the fish and me.)
4. Other than LotR, what is your favourite book?
Aside from all things Tolkien, I’d have to say ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’. Even though that’s actually seven books, I guess.
5. If you were going to write a book, what would it be about?
If I were going to write fiction, it would probably be about cats – something adventurous. Writing about politics is always tempting, but a bit too dangerous for me, I think. I’d probably just end up getting mad and hurting myself. My best friend and I have actually planned on writing a sort-of ‘anti-proper-manners’ guide, just to see how silly we could make it.
6. If you were a tree, what kind would you be?
Some kind of evergreen. I’m a winter person, so I wouldn’t be one that would lose its leaves then.
7. Who is your least favourite LotR character?
Bill Ferny.
8. Favourite LotR concept artist/illustrator?
That’s a tough one. Probably Alan Lee. His art has a way of drawing me into the moment.
9. If you could have played a character in LotR (regardless of gender), who would it have been?
Frodo, definitely.
10. What change would you make to PJ’s LotR films?
Why, I’d make them longer, of course!
11. Which is your favourite outfit/costume in the LotR films (regardless of gender)?
I really like the coat Éowyn wears on the way to Helm’s Deep. She has some great dresses, too. And I like Frodo’s travel outfit because it looks so comfortable.
12. What is your favourite CoE theme?
Hmm, probably the One Ring theme, although I’m actually using the White Tree theme at the moment. I have to change themes periodically. I love the color of the Saruman theme, too.
13. What area of the site (other than that which you mod) do you surf the most?
The Realm of Nienna forum.
14. If you had to pick a different staff job on CoE, which job do you think would be fun?
Working on new themes has always looked fun to me. I just don’t quite have the technical knowledge for it.
15. And, because we are the Realm of Vána, what is your favourite flower?
Carnations, partly because they’re pretty, but mostly because I love the scent.
