10. Doriath. Here you can dwell among the most beautiful palaces, while listening to the high voices of singing elves, and, on top of that, protected against all darkness. Let your heart be filled with the love and joy this beautiful kingdom is soaked with.
9. The Shire. It is full of places to have picnics in, and there is always enough food for the picnics as well. A very peaceful and serene place, perfect for romance!
8. Mirkwood. A very attractive place for couples of Middle-earth! What could be more romantic than a night with the stars shining through the lovely nice trees!
7. The Houses of Healing. Its beautiful garden is an invitation for love. Like the love of Faramir and Éowyn.
6. Taniquetil. The White Mountain that never runs out of stars at night. How romantic it is to stargaze in this very cool place! Just remember the love of Manwë and Varda, who both live there. A very peaceful place in the Pelóri.
5. Lothlórien. You know you definitely love the Golden Wood! The mallorns, the niphredil, the elanor. And there’s also the perfect Caras Galadhon. What place could be as romantic as this one?
4. Imloth Melui. Though it is not known exactly where that was (perhaps in Lossarnach), it was famous for its roses, which are the flowers that symbolize love.
3. Ithilien. The fair garden of Gondor with its fragrant air, climbing woods and swift streams. Take a walk underneath the tall trees, see the sweet-smelling herbs and flowers or dream beside a heavenly waterfall.
2. Alqualondë. Swan ships, peaceful harbors, calm water, Teleri playing pipes and shell instruments…what could be more romantic?
1. Rivendell. It is so beautiful and peaceful, like the scene with Aragorn and Arwen on the bridge. There is so much romance and tranquility here. The place itself is very hazy and sweet. Just try to remember the lovely tale of Aragorn and Arwen.
