WHAT?? THREE OR FOUR YEARS?!?!?!
by then, both Ians may have passed away and won’t be able to fill their roles (donuts forbid we have a ‘fake dumbledore’ attempt at the movie like the HP series has lately). how can you possibly shoot the shire and the mountains and the forests of ME as by then New Zealand will be a top tourist attraction?
a pity, to say the least: i was quite fond of the idea of continuing the dream, fulfilling the legacy. oh well… i guess we won’t really have a true-to-the-times tolkien movie to fill the little void in our fanatic hearts. ๐
That’s it. As soon as I get a video camera, I’m making one of my own. I can’t wait three or four years! And that’s just production! Who knows how long it would take for the film to actually come out!
Good news!!!
I knew that after “King Kong” Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens want to make a movie after Alice Sebold’s novel “The Lovely Bones”. So… three or four years is not so much. Of course I would like to see “The Hobbit” tomorrow, but I think it’s great that Peter really wants to make it. I had some doubts…
Anyway, sir Ian Holm and sir Ian McKellen are not so old! ๐
Long live the Shire!
omg i don’t think i can wait that long……..if only i could speed up time…….okay enough with the daydreaming! i’ll be outta HS by then. Well i guess i could watch it in my dorm room (coolio). Well, i’d rather watch it sooner than later! Hurry up Hobbit!!!

Waaaaaaah!
Grr. We wants it now! At least he’s probably going to make it. And I don’t think the Ians would be dead by then, so they can play their roles.
Oh man. That’ll take forever! ๐
I’m just happy he’s probably going to make it.
Last time I read something about it it didn’t sound so good…I guess I might have missed something.
*sits back and waits patiently*
OK, great, so we’ve got 3/4 years. But at least PJ doing it,without him we really would have been screwed
