How did you find CoE?
I discovered CoE over two years ago and I’m having a hard time remembering how I found this wonderful site!
What are your duties here at CoE?
My duties as the Games Assistant include moderating the Games Forum, adding new crossword puzzles and quizzes to the site, updating the Mystery Picture every few weeks and looking for any potential java games that could be added.
What are your favourite areas of the site?
The Games Forum was always one of my favourite forums and it still is (surprise?). I also really love spending time in the Realm I am in, which is Varda.
How often do you visit CoE?
Everyday.
How many times have you read the books?
I’ve read the Lord of the Rings series twice now, The Silmarillion once, Unfinished Tales once and The Hobbit once.
Who is your favourite LOTR character?
I’d have to say Éowyn because she’s an incredibly realistic character. She symbolizes the battle for equality among women and men, that’s what drew me to her the most.
Do you have a favourite scene from the trilogy?
Oh wow, there were a lot of wonderful scenes but I would choose Farewell to Lórien when Galadriel gives Frodo the Light of Eärendil. The music and the words Galadriel speaks to Frodo are beautiful.
What character left out of the films do you miss most?
Glorfindel.
Do you know any Sindarin or Quenya?
I tried learning Sindarin for a couple of years, but failed miserably. Last summer I was trying to learn Quenya, but once school started I didn’t have the time for it. However, I do know a few quotes and words from both languages.
What did you enjoy most about the ROTK EE?
Definitely the Houses of Healing, Arwen’s Song is just beautiful!
