How did you find CoE?
I was hooked by our former fan creations admin Lollypop. She convinced me that this was the best Tolkien site to hang around and she was absolutely right.
What are your duties here at CoE?
I mainly moderate journals, but sometimes I pop into the chat. I’m just a bit too busy a person to moderate over there if not needed.
What are your favourite areas of the site?
Well, I really liked rpg forum, but I’m not in any (active) thread at the moment.
How often do you visit CoE?
Daily. From one time to many depending on how much school and homework I have.
How many times have you read the books?
Which one of them? *chuckle* If this means LotR trilogy it’s twice (once in Finnish, once in English) but I moved to the other books fast afterwards and am going on History of Middle-earth series now.
Who is your favourite LOTR character?
This is a hard one. In the movies I liked Sam most, as he was ‘good’ from the beginning to the end, but I have chosen my favourite from all the books I have read and it’s Nienor Niniel (however you spell that correctly) from The Silmarillion.
Do you have a favourite scene from the trilogy?
Definitely when the elves march to Helm’s Deep. It’s so impressive and the music is fantastic that I won’t forget that soon.
What character left out of the films do you miss most?
It must be Tom Bombadil. What happened to the hobbits in that part of the books was way too important to be left out, but what can one do? It was a decision of the movie makers.
Do you know any Sindarin or Quenya?
Heh, I can say “Mado Lembas nín!” (eat my lembas) in Sindarin and some basic phrases but that’s all.
What did you enjoy most about the ROTK EE?
Houses of Healing! I went ‘awwwwwwwwwwwww’ when Faramir and Éowyn fell in love. It was just too sweet (even though short) to keep me calm.
