1. Yay! I’m Aussie, and I voted for LotR! But the funny thing is, Pride and Prejudice, To Kill a Mockingbird and A Fortunate Life are all some of my favourites too! A Fortunate Life is an absolutely wonderful book and it was a true story.

2. I heard this announced on the Nine Networks, “Today Show” this morning, and went looking for the article on the nine msn site. It seems to be much the same article, but you can check it out here if you like for a comparrison. Had planned to get the scoop on the article but your too quick for me morwenna 🙂 .

Live and love
Wulf.

3. I’m so glad!, and I was very happy to see some of my favourites (LOTR, P&P, To Kill a Mockingbird) in the top 5. I’m a bit surprised by the lack of local literature in the list though…

4. I was pleased, but not overly surprised, when we watched this program and the Lord of the Rings won. I was surprised by Pride and Predjudice beating the Bible, though.

5. I don’t think it’s amazing that LotR was the winner, because it is so well written and has captivated hearts for years, but I’m very happy to see that Pride and
Prejudice came in at second, for that is also one of my favorites!
